Gold price touches a record high of Rs 160, 400 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has set a new record at Rs 160,400 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Wednesday.

The price of yellow metal has increased by Rs 1,700 per tola and reached Rs 160,400.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the gold was traded at Rs 159,700 on Wednesday.

Likewise, the silver is being traded at Rs 1, 955 per tola.
