Gold hits new high of Rs 159, 200 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market today.

With the rise of Rs 400 per tola (11.66 grams) today, its price reached an all-time high of Rs 159, 200 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold was Rs 158,800 on Sunday.

Likewise, the silver is being traded at Rs 1, 920 per tola.
