Durga Prasai arrested for violating ETA

BHAKTAPUR: Police have arrested medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai for violating the Electronic Transaction Act (ETA)-2008.

A team from the Cyber Bureau of the Nepal Police apprehended Prasai from his Bhaktapur-based residence, according to Bureau Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police, Deepak Raj Awasthi.

A complaint was filed against Prasai at the Bureau under the Electronic Transaction Act.

The Bureau had taken permission from the Kathmandu District Court before arresting him.
