KUSOM students launch ‘Project Pariwartan’ in Tanahu school
KATHMANDU: A group of 4 students from Kathmandu University School of Management, BBA 4th semester has launched a volunteer program in Tanahun district named ‘Pariwartan’. The three-week-long project was concluded on 12th September.
As a part of Kathmandu University’s BBA Honors / Emphasis Program, students are required to engage themselves in the Social Experience Project after the completion of their Year II, Semester II. They are supposed to be engaged in serving the local community by getting themselves involved in a social organization.
In this regard, Aarju Jonchhe, Rojika Thapa, Samiksha Ghimire and Unnati Joshi of BBA fourth semester went to Shree Nirjala Aadharbhut Vidyalaya, Bhanu- 08, Tanahun. The objective of Project Pariwartan was to help underprivileged students by fostering holistic development through education, health, and well-being.

which is located in Deuralitar, Bhanu- 08, Tanahun. 96 students from Balbikas to class 8 along with 12 teachers were beneficial. The activities were Basic Financial Literacy Program, Awareness on Early Marriage, Awareness on Drug Addiction, Awareness on Social Media Addiction, Environmental Awareness, Safe Hygiene Practices, Menstrual Health Awareness, Extra-Curricular Activities. All student received tracksuits, while the girls got sanitary Pad. Vending Machine, color printer, books for the library, stationeries for all the students were also provided. Likewise dustbins, sports equipment musical instruments, cleaning Supplies were distributed.
Title Sponsor of the project was Shine Resunga Development Bank Ltd, while the Co-Sponsors were Agricultural Development Bank Ltd, Aashapuri Wires Pvt Ltd.
