Diarrhea claims four in Banke

KHAJURA: Four persons died of diarrhea at Gegali Village in Nainpur Rural Municipality-3, Banke.

Seven persons have taken ill due to diarrhea.

According to Nainpur-3 Chairman Ajay Mishra, the deceased have been identified as Rusha Pasi (25), his one-and-half-year-old daughter Nandani Pasi, Shanti Pasi (60) and Yusuf Ali (10).

Nainpur Rural Municipality Health Department Chief Nagendra Kumar Shah said that a diarrhea epidemic broke out at Gageli, the village bordering India.

“I along with other health workers are treating the people in the village,” he said.
