Four Nepalis killed in landslide in Uttarkhand, India

KATHMANDU: Four Nepalis died after being buried in a landslide in Uttarkhand, India. All the deceased are Nepali workers.

Among them, three are from Madi of Chitwan.

According to Tara Kumari Kaji, Chief of Madi Municipality, the deceased have been identified as Tul Bahadur Pariyar (58) of Sitalpur, Madi-2, Krishna Bahadur Pariyar (26) of Bhangaha, Madi-1 and Purna Bahadur Nepali (28) of Charchare, Madi-5.

They used to work as road workers.

All the four Nepalis were sleeping on the roadside in the tent when the landslide buried them at around 11 pm on Thursday.

The bodies have been kept at a local hospital for postmortem.
