One dies of dengue, 30 found infected with cholera

KATHMANDU: The Epidemiology and Disease Control Division on Tuesday said that a person died of dengue.

A total of 365 people have been infected with dengue across the country since December.

The dengue infection has spread to 73 districts.

It has been reported that 537 people have been infected in Koshi, 46 in Madhes, 747 in Bagmati, 508 in Gandaki, 247 in Lumbini, 38 in Karnali and 242 in Far West.

Two hundred and eighty-seven people have been infected in Kathmandu Valley, 137 in Kaski, 133 in Jhapa, 116 in Chitwan and 110 in Tanahun.

Similarly, the number of people infected with cholera is also on the rise.

The EDCD informed that 30 people have been infected with cholera across the country.

No one has died of cholera so far.
