Nepali man killed in Texas, US

KATHMANDU: An armed gang killed a Nepali man in Texas, US.

According to local media, the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Dipak Oli, who was a clerk at a gas station.

He is a permanent resident of Baphikot, Rukum.

“The two guys, they came with a gun in the morning, around 5:20… that’s what the cops said,” a local said. “And Dipak was standing by the counter, on the register. So, he tried to run, but he couldn’t make it, they already started shooting,” the media reported.

Three persons were involved in the incident.

Authorities say that Oli’s family has already been notified.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
