4 missing, 2 injured as landslide sweeps away house, shed in Gorkha

GORKHA: Four persons have gone missing and two others were injured when a landslide swept away a house and a shed at Sidla-based Resegaun in Dharche Rural Municipality-5, Gorkha.

The identities of the missing persons are yet to be ascertained; Rural Municipality Vice-Chairman Sunil Gurung informed.

Locals Cham Bahadur Gurung and Min Bahadur Gurung were injured in the incident and search for them is underway, said Gurung.

Ramesh Kumar Shrestha, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Gorkha, said a police team has already headed towards the incident site.
