18 killed as Saurya Airlines plane crashes during takeoff at TIA (With list)

KATHMANDU: At least 18 people died when a Saurya Airlines plane crashed while taking off at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday.

According to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Office, the bodies of 18 people have been recovered from the crashed site.

There were 19 people including the crew members on board the aircraft that crashed this morning.

Captain Manish Shakya was rescued alive and has been taken to the KMC Hospital in Sinamangal for treatment.
