RSP not to join front of opposition parties (With video)

KATHMANDU: The Rabi Lamichhane-led Rastriya Swatantra Party has decided not to participate in the front of opposition parties that the Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal  is trying to practice.

The Parliamentary Party meeting held in Singha Durbar on Sunday decided to play the role of a strong opposition, Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar informed.

The Maoist Centre and Rastriya Swatantra Party are in constant dialogue after the CPN-UML and Nepali Congress formed an alliance to form a new government.

“This alliance is not in favour of democracy. That is why we will play the role of a responsible opposition. We will not form an opposition front,” he said.
