PM Oli to seek vote of confidence on Sunday

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is to seek a vote of confidence on Sunday.

CPN-UML Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula informed that Prime Minister Oli will seek a vote of confidence on Sunday.

Oli, who was appointed as the Prime Minister on July 14, took the oath of office and secrecy the next day.

As per the constitutional provision, the prime minister needs to seek a vote of confidence within 30 days after being appointed to the post.

Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to address the nation from the Parliament on Sunday.
