KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa said that an agreement reached with CPN-UML will be made public once the process of forming a new government begins.
Talking to mediapersons at the Biratnagar Airport on Thursday, an agreement reached between Nepali Congress and UML will be made public once the process of forming a new government begins after the process of seeking a vote of confidence in the Parliament completes.
Saying that there would be the pressure of time while working as the general secretary, Thapa said that he has already informed the party leadership that he would not join the government and work as the general secretary.
Asserting that the Constitution cannot be amended just because a political party wants it, Thapa said that the support of all the political parties will be necessary for the same.
General Secretary Thapa said that the Constitution will be reviewed in such a way that the federal democratic republican system is not affected.
