NC urges PM Dahal to pave the way for forming new government (With video)
KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has urged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to pave the way for forming a new government.
The Central Works Execution Committee meeting held at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha urged the Prime Minister to pave the way after the two big parties forged an agreement to form a new government, spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat said.
“The Prime Minister should pave the way as the two largest parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML said that they will form a new government together. It will be appropriate if he resigned from the post now. That is why we have urged the Prime Minister to pave the way,” he said.
Meanwhile, NC General Secretary Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that there is a possibility that the UML will withdraw support to the government today.
