7 killed, 7 injured in Rolpa jeep accident

RUPANDEHI: Seven persons died and seven others were injured when a jeep met with an accident at Parewa Chahara in Talawang of Rolpa on Monday.

The incident occurred when the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3252) fell some 400 metres down the road at Madi Rural Municipality at around 4 pm today.

Madi Rural Municipality Chairman Amar Singh Gharti said that five persons died on the spot while two breathed their last during the course of treatment at the District Hospital.

Police said that the identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
