Chinese national held with 6 kg gold in Boudha

KATHMANDU: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested a Chinese citizen with six kg gold.

CIB spokesperson Superintendent of Police Hobindra Bogati said that the Senam Gurung (37) was apprehended from Boudha.

He said, “A Chinese national Senam Gurung has been arrested with six kg of gold from Boudha, Kathmandu. They are looking into the case.”

SP Bogati said tht they also recovered Rs 4.8 million in cash from Gurung’s house.
