Gold price touches a record high of Rs 140, 900 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has set a new record at Rs 140,900 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Suunday.

The price of yellow metal has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola and reached Rs 140,900.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the hallmark gold was traded at Rs 139,300 on Friday.

Similarly, the price of tejabi gold has reached Rs 140,200 per tola today against Rs 138,650 per tola.

Likewise, the price of silver is determined at Rs 1, 910 per tola, an increase of Rs 110 per tola.
