Ashok Rai-led Janata Samajbadi Party to join government
KATHMANDU: With the exit of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal from the government, the Ashok Rai-led Janata Samajbadi Party is to join the government.
The Janata Samajbadi Party has recommended the names of three new ministers to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
JSP General Secretary Mohammad Istiyak Rai said that the names of Pradeep Yadav, Hasina Khan and Ranju Jha have been submitted in Baluwatar.
According to a source, preparations are underway to appoint Yadav as Health Minister and Hasina as Minister of State for Health.
The portfolio of Ranju has not been decided yet.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population Upendra Yadav and Minister of State for Forest and Environment Deepak Karki resigned from their posts this morning.
