Chakra Bahadur Buda appointed as Director General of Department of Revenue Investigation

KATHMANDU: Joint Secretary Chakra Bahadur Buda has been appointed as the Director General of the Department of Revenue Investigation.

The Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers recalled the Department’s Director General Nawaraj Dhungana to appoint Buda to the post.

Dhungana, who got the responsibility of private secretary soon after CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal was elected as the prime minister, was appointed as the Director General of the Department on June 27, 2023.

Buda, who was the Director General at the Tourism Department, was transferred to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers a few days ago.

It has been learnt that Buda was transferred to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Minister to appoint him as the Director General at the Department of Revenue Investigation.
