Three killed in Jhapa motorbike-jeep collision

JHAPA: Three persons died in a road accident at Jhiljhile in Shivasatachhi-8 of Jhapa on Wednesday.

Krishna Kumar Chand, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Jhapa, said that three persons died when a motorbike (Me 3 Pa 5001) heading towards Surunga from Damak along the East-West Highway collided head-on with a jeep (Pra 1-01-001 Cha 9329) this morning.

He said that all the deceased were riding on the bike.

Police said that they died during the course of treatment.

The Area Police Office has taken the jeep driver under control and started the investigation.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
