Fire engulfs over 100 houses in Mahottari

JANAKPURDHAM: A massive fire broke out in Matihani Rural Municipality-6 of Mahottari district.

The fire that occurred about an hour ago has not been brought under control.

Matihani Municipality Mayor Hari Prasad Mandal said that more than 100 houses were destroyed in the inferno.

The fire engines from all the surrounding municipalities have reached the incident site to extinguish the fire.
