Families of those disappeared in Russian army stage demonstration in front of Singha Durbar (With photos)

KATHMANDU: The families of those who died and disappeared while serving in the Russian army staged a demonstration in front of Singha Durbar on Monday.

Police have taken them under control while they were heading towards the southern gate of Singha Durbar to stage the protest.

Most of the people, who were detained by the police, were women and children.

They have drawn the attention of the government to find out the whereabouts of the disappeared and make diplomatic efforts to repatriate them and provide proper compensation to the families of those who lost their lives fighting against the Ukranain forces.
