SC directs Medical Education Commission to grant affiliation to B & C Medical College

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has issued a verdict in favour of medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai.

A joint bench of Justices Kumar Chundal and Saranga Subedi delivered the verdict on Monday.

The Jhapa-based B&C Medical College, of which Prasai is the Executive Director, had filed two cases against the Medical Education Commission.

Prasai filed the cases on July 5, 2020 and October 16, 2020 against the Commission after it did not grant affiliation to the College.
