Three Nepalis killed in car hit in Kuwait
DUBAI: Three Nepalis died in a road accident in Kuwait on Tuesday.
The three Nepalis working in the same company died on the spot in a road accident that occurred in Mahabulla area of Kuwait.
The Nepali Embassy in Kuwait confirmed that the three Nepalis died on the spot after being hit by an over-speeding car on Tuesday morning in Mahabulla area of Kuwait.
The deceased have been identified as Surat Bahadur Kathayat of Layati Panchadewal Binayak-5, Achham, Sujan Karki of Sano Bharyang, Nagarjun-2, Kathmandu and Dhiraj Gurmachan Magar of Bengadawar-3, Dhanusha.
They were working at the Papasan Company in Kuwait, informed Raj Malla, President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists’ Kuwait branch.
The car drive has been taken under control and the bodies have been sent to Farwaniya Hospital for postmortem, the local administration said.
Prem Raj Gautam, first secretary and information officer at the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait, said that efforts are being made to send the bodies to Nepal and to claim the insurance.
