Government directed to answer issues raised in Parliament (With video)
KATHMANDU: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has issued a ruling to the government to answer the issues raised in the House.
Speaker Ghimire directed the government to answer the questions raised in todays and previous meetings on March 4 after the opposition parties including the CPN-UML obstructed the Parliament proceedings accusing the government of not being accountable.
During the meeting, UML lawmaker Surya Thapa accused the government of ignoring the repeated rulings by the Speaker to answer the issues raised in the Parliament.
Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Ligden to the government’s act of not answering the questions raised in the House.
He said that there is no point of operating the Parliament without the presence of the government.
