Biplav appointed coordinator of Socialist Front

KATHMANDU: Communist Party of Nepal General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) has been appointed as the coordinator of the Socialist Front which was put forward by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal as the (Third Pole).

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Nepal handed over the post to Biplav as per the agreement reached earlier to change the leadership on rotation basis.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting of the Front, CPN (Maoist Centre) General Secretary Dev Gurung said that so far, the coordination committee of the Front has been formed in 58 districts.

He further said that the people’s mobilisation program will be orgranised in the major cities of the country.
