Police constable murders wife and son in Dang

RUPANDEHI: A police constable murdered his wife and son in Dang on Sunday morning.

Nepali (32) of Rolpa, who was transferred to Dang from Banke two months ago, murdered his wife Tika BK (22) and two-and-half-year-old son Sushant Nepali at around 7 am today.

DSP Janak Bahadur Malla, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Dang, said that Nepali reached the police office at around 8 am saying that he murdered his wife and son.

It has been learnt that Nepali had been staying with his wife and son at the Sahidgate-based Super Lodge Hotel in Ghorahi.

Police said that Nepali strangled his wife and son with a shawl following a minor dispute this morning.

DDP Malla said that a police team reached the crime scene and started investigating the case soon after Nepali informed about the incident.
