Patan High Court Judge Marasini dies of heart attack

KATHMANDU: Patan High Court Judge Matrika Marasini died of heart attack on Tuesday.

He was taken to a hospital after he complained of chest pain at around 9 am today.

Patan High Court spokesperson Tirtha Bhattarai said that Marasini died during the course of treatment at around 10 am.

Marisini (56) was transferred to the Patan High Court just two days before.

He was appointed as the high court judge recently.

A meeting of the Judicial Council on January 9 had decided to appoint Marasini as the high court judge.
