Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrives in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: External Affairs Minister of India S Jaishankar arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Foreign Minister NP Saud welcomed him at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

He arrived in Kathmandu to take part in the seventh meeting of the Nepal-India joint commission.

Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will pay courtesy calls on President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at 11 am and 12 pm respectively today itself.

He will hold a meeting with his Nepali counterpart Saud at 1 pm in Hotel Yak and Yeti.

There is a schedule to sign various agreements at 2 pm.

He is scheduled to meet Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at 3:40 pm and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at 4:30 pm today.
