Balkumari incident should be investigated by forming high-level judicial probe committee: NC (With video)

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has demanded the formation of a high-level judicial probe committee to investigate the death of two youths in Balkumari.

A Central Committee meeting demanded the formation of a committee to find out the truth.

While making public the decision of the committee, Publicity Department Chief Min Bishwokarma said, “The party has demanded the formation of a high-level judicial probe committee to investigate the truth and punish the guilty.”

He further demanded employment and proper compensation to for one of the family members of the deceased.

The Home Ministry had formed a probe committee to investigate the Balkumari incident.

Sujan Raut (23) of Mahabu Rural Municipality-6 of Dailekh and Birendra Shah (22) of Chaurpati Rural Municipality-1 of Achham died in police during the demonstration at Balkumari, Lalitpur on Friday.
