CPN (MC) to hold statute convention in February, seven-member Statute Drafting Committee formed

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to hold its statute convention in the third week of February.

An office bearers’ meeting of the party held in Baluwatar on Thursday formed the Statute Drafting Committee to hold the statute convention, party spokesperson Agni Sapkota said.

Vice-Chairperson Pampha Bhusal, General Secretary Dev Gurung, Deputy General Secretaries Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Barshaman Pun and Janardan Sharma and Secretary duo Ganesh Shah and Hitman Shakya are the members of the committee.

Sapkota said that the party has decided to hold its Central Committee meeting before the convention.
