Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal promoted to Secretary

KATHMANDU: Joint Secretary Sewa Lamsal has been promoted to the post of Secretary.

A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday promoted Lamsal to the post of secretary.

A meeting of the Promotion Recommendation Committee presided over by Public Service Commission Chairman Madhav Prasad Regmi recommended the name of Lamsal for the vacant post of Secretary at the Foreign Ministry.

With the promotion, Lamsal became as the first female secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
