Four-member committee formed to investigate death of Keshar Bahadur Bhujel

BIRATNAGAR: A committee has been formed to investigate the death of Keshar Bahadur Bhujel who had been doing time in the Morang District Prison.

A four-member committee was formed under the headship of Assistant CDO Pradeep Sah after Bhujel’s relatives refused to receive the body saying that he died under mysterious circumstances.

Dr Manoj Thakur of Koshi Hospital, police Inspector Hem Raj Oli, Letang-4 ward Chairman Ram Kumar Shrestha are other members of the committee.

Morang CDO Birendra Kumar Yadav said that the committee has been directed to submit the report within 15 days.

Bhujel (40) of Letang-4 died while undergoing treatment at the Koshi Hospital at around 5:30 pm on Thursday.
