21 injured in Rukum West jeep accident

SURKHET: At least 21 persons were injured when a Bolero Jeep they were travelling in met with an accident at Goyerijyula in Chaurjahari Municipality-8 of Rukum West on Monday.

The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 2297) was heading towards Khalanga from Chaurjahari of Rukum when the incident occurred this morning.

Among the injured, three are said to be in critical condition.

The injured are undergoing treatment at the Mission Hospital in Chaurjahari, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum West Bishnu Prasad Shrestha said.

Police said that they are looking into the incident.
