T20 International Triangular Series: Nepal thump Hong Kong by six wickets
KATHMANDU: Hosts Nepal registered a six-wicket win over Hong Kong in their second match of the T20 International Triangular Series on Thursday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Nepal bundled out Hong Kong in a meager total of 94 runs in 13.5 overs.
Asif Sheikh scored highest 42 runs for Nepal. Similarly, Captain Rohit Paudel made 25 runs and Gulsan Jha contributed 14 runs.
Hong Kong’s Ehsan Khan claimed three wickets.
Karan KC took four wickets for Nepal. Likewise, Sompal Kami and Abhinas Bohara claimed two wickets each while Kushal Malla and Mausam Dhakal took one wicket each.
Yasim Murtaza scored highest 36 runs for Nepal.
Earlier on Wednesday, Nepal defeated the UAE by seven wickets in their first match of the series.
