Koshi Province Chief Minister Karki expands Cabinet

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Koshi Province Chief Minister Kedar Karki expanded his Cabinet on Friday.

Karki has inducted two ministers into his Cabinet soon after taking the oath of office and secrecy.

There were preparations to appoint two ministers from the CPN-UML and one from the Nepali Congress.

But, as Karki had to appoint only two persons as ministers from among the lawmakers who supported him, he appointed one minister each from the UML and the Nepali Congress.

Ram Rana from the UML and Ek Raj Karki from the Congress took the oath of office and secrecy as ministers today itself.
