Government decides to find way to safely relocate Nepali nationals in Israel

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to keep an aircraft on standby to repatriate the bodies of Nepali nationals killed in the attacks by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel.

A meeting of a coordination mechanism held under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister NP Saud has decided to coordinate with the Israeli side to bring the bodies back to Nepal.

Similarly, the meeting has also decided to find a way to safely relocate the Nepali nationals in Israel.

The government on Sunday had formed the mechanism to comprehensively monitor the situation, assess the developments and evaluate the situation of the Nepali community in Israel and to undertake decisions if rescue is required and coordinate any related efforts.
