Black soot smeared on businessman Durga Prasain’s face (With video)

KATHMANDU: A group of youths smeared a black soot on the face of businessman Durga Prasain on Monday.

The youths smeared the black soot on his face during a press conference organised in Kantipath-based Hotel Yellow Pagoda.

During the programme, he had made public the photos of some smugglers.

A team of Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbarmarg has just reached the incident site.

Police said that no one has been arrested yet and they are searching for the people involved in smearing the black sooth of Prasain’s face.

He has been campaigning for the control of high interest rates of banks, microfinance and cooperatives and loan waiver among others for some time now.

Reinstatement of monarchy and Hindu nation are also his agenda.
