PM Dahal in Bajhang quake-hit areas (With photos)

KAILALI: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has reached Bajhang on Friday to inspect the quake-affected areas.

Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Foreign Minister NP Saud, lawmaker of Bajhang Bhanubhakta Joshi, Home Secretary and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority Chief among others were in the Prime Minister’s team.

The team reached Bajhang on a Nepal Army chopper.

Sudurpashim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, Speaker Bhim Bhandari, Internal Affairs and Law Minister Shiva Raj Bhatta and Chief of security agencies had already reached the quake-hit areas.

7 districts of the Far West have been affected by the earthquake that occurred on Tuesday with its epicenter around Talkot and Chainpur in Bajhang.

A person had died and 20 others were injured in Bajhang.
