Graft case filed against Under Secretary Bishworaj Marasini
KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against five persons including the then Chief Administrative Office of Simraungadh Municipality Bishworaj Marasini.
The anti-corruption watchdog filed the case accusing them of carrying out irregularities while constructing the building of Janata Higher Secondary School in Simraungadh Municipality-9.
Accounts Officer Sarmendra Prasad Chaudhary, Building Construction Committee Chairman Rambabu Prasad Yadav, Secretary Ramakanta Prasad and treasurer Kiran Devi were made defendants.
Marasini also served as an administrative officer Budhanilkantha Municipality and Godawari Municipality of Lalitpur.
The CIAA has sought a fine of Rs 658, 440 each from the accused.
