NC committed to address legitimate demands of teachers

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has said that it is committed to address the genuine demands of teachers.

Speaking at the Central Committee meeting on Friday, party Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak urged the party leadership to take a decision on the school education bill on behalf of the party.

“We are taking initiatives from our side to address the legitimate demands of the teachers who have been staging protests against the education bill,” leader Lekhak said.

The teachers have been staging protests in the Capital for the past few days expressing dissatisfaction over the school education bill tabled in the Parliament.
