Police start investigating Gairigaun murder focusing on pedestrian captured on CCTV

KATHMANDU: Police have claimed that they have found a clue of a man involved in the murder of four persons at Gairigaun in Kathmandu on Friday night.

Police have been searching for the person involved in the incident on the basis of CCTV footage.

According to a preliminary investigation, the incident occurred before 11 pm and the person was seen walking towards Bhaktapur after the incident.

“We have received some pictures from the CCTV cameras installed around the incident area. We are investigating the incident,” an official deployed to investigate the case said.

So far, police have not found anything about the cause of the incident.

Four persons including three of a single were murdered on Friday.
