Two killed in Dadeldhura auto rickshaw accident

DADELDHURA: Two persons died in an auto rickshaw accident in Dadeldhura on Wednesday.

The deceased have been identified as Padam Balayar and Keshav Mahara of Shikhar Municipality of Doti district, said Police Inspector at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Kusum Nayak.

The auto rickshaw was heading towards Doti from Attariya along Bhimdutta Highway when the accident occurred at Melkharka of Dadeldhura last night.

Auto rickshaw driver Bir Bahadur Kunwat, who was injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at the Dadeldhura Hospital.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
