Tarun Dal demands resignation of Home Minister Shrestha (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Cadres of Tarun Dal, youth wing of Nepali Congress, staged a protest in the Capital on Friday against the attack on party Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav.

The demonstrations demanded resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha.

Shyam Babu Sapkota (47) of Bidur Nuwakot had attacked Yadav with a khukuri while was exiting from the Reporters’ Club after attending a program on Thursday.

Following the incident, lawmaker and Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa, speaking at the Parliament meeting, demanding thorough investigation into the incident.
