Congress Bagmati Province Chief Whip Kafle resigns
KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Bagmati Province Parliamentary Party Chief Whip Kundan Raj Kafle has resigned from his post on Tuesday.
He submitted his resignation to Parliamentary Party leader Bahadur Singh Lama.
Posting a photo of submitting the resignation to the Parliamentary Party leader, Kafle, who is said to be close to Lama, said that he decided to put in his papers as he could not give enough time to the party organization.
Kafle, a Nepali Congress central member, said that he decided to tender his resignation from the post of chief whip to devote himself more to the service of the people of Dolakha.
A source said that Kafle resigned from the post of chief whip due to a dispute with Lama.
His relations with Lama sourced after he did not get the post of minister in the Bagmati Province as he demanded.
