Black soot smeared on face of man and woman involved in preaching Christianity to locals

JANAKPURDHAM: A group of Hindu youths smeared black soot on the face of a man and a woman involved in preaching Christianity to locals at Parikrama Road in Janakpurdham.

The youths led by Amit Raut of Hindu Samrat Sena smeared black soot on the face of a man and a woman whose identities are yet to be established.

Hindu woman Manju Mandal said that both of them have been handed over to police by smearing black soot on their face as they were found preaching Christianity by misinterpreting Hinduism.

Both of them have been kept at the District Police Office.

DSP Bed Prasad Gautam, spokesperson at the District Police Office, said that they are looking into the case.
