Automated system to assign cases comes into force in Supreme Court

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Chief Justice Bishowambhar Prasad Shrestha said that the good governance will be maintained in the Supreme Court.

He said so while inaugurating an automated system to assign cases in Supreme Court on Monday.

Chief Justice Shrestha was of the opinion that the good governance will be maintained by making all the work and proceedings of the court technology-friendly.

He claimed that the employees will work with high morale with the implementation of the automated system to assign cases.

Saying that the process is moving ahead to improve the work and proceedings of the court, he said that it would improve further.

“I hope that the implementation of an automated system to assign cases will help employees to work with high morale,” the Chief Justice said.

The manpower within the Supreme Court was used to bring the system into force, he said.

Meanwhile, Chief Justice Shrestha said that the system will also be implemented in the Kathmandu District Court among other places in the coming days.
