UML, RPP boycott Koshi Province Assembly meeting (With video)

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML and Rastriya Prajatantra Party lawmakers boycotted the Koshi Province Assembly meeting.

As soon as the meeting began on Wednesday, the UML and RPP lawmakers boycotted the meeting saying that the Assembly chairperson violated the Constitution while the Chief Minister was seeking a vote of confidence.

Israil Mansuri chaired the Provincial Assembly meeting on Wednesday also as the senior member among the participants.

While Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa was taking a vote of confidence, Chief Minister Uddhav Thapa called another person and asked him to vote in favor of Thapa.

Afte the UML and RPP lawmakers boycotted the meeting by chanting slogans, Mansuri postponed the meeting indefinitely.
