Sita Dahal cremated with state honors (photos)

KATHMANDU: Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, was cremated with state honors at Pashupatinath Aryaghat on Wednesday.

PM Dahal along with his two daughters- Renu Dahal and Ganga Dahal- lit the funeral pyre this afternoon.

Many leaders of major political parties including cadres were present at Dahal’s cremation to pay their respects.

PM Dahals’s wife Sita Dahal passed away earlier this morning. The Norvic Hospital had issued a statement declaring her death at 8:33 AM.
