Nepalese mountaineer Pandey heads off to Russia to climb Mt Elbrus with Maha Jodi’s best wishes

KATHMANDU: Nepalese mountaineer Prakash Raj Pandey embarked on his journey to Russia on Thursday to climb Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe.

Maha Jodi (Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya) bid farewell to Pandey by handing over the flag of Nepal and offering their best wishes for his successful mission to conquer the highest mountains on all seven continents.

Having already successfully climbed six mountains in Nepal, including Mt Everest, Mt Manaslu, and Mt Ama Dablam, Pandey now aims to conquer all the Seven Summits

Pandey’s journey will commence with Mt Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe.
